Which city wrote the ticket decides where you look. Boerne Municipal Court holds the files for Boerne, and Fair Oaks Ranch Municipal Court handles its own citations, so use each city's portal only for that city. Police departments in Kendall County can file the complaint, but the municipal court itself controls whether a warrant gets recalled. Before you visit either counter in Kendall County, call ahead and ask what identity details the form requires. Read any extension terms before signing. A lawyer can explain a waiver or a plea. Keep your citation and proof of payment together, and confirm the court actually entered its response. County matters go to the named precinct. For a warrant check, go through the issuing court.

Kendall County Municipal Court Warrants

Boerne and Fair Oaks Ranch Municipal Courts handle their own city citations. Boerne's Class C filings can come from police, animal control, permitting and code, and fire-marshal functions, along with traffic, parking, and city ordinances. Fair Oaks Ranch handles Class C traffic and ordinance cases filed by its police department.

Each court controls its citation record, appearance options, payment terms, and recall. A county sheriff page, JP record, or District Clerk search cannot certify a city case. The correct city name on the citation is the first routing clue.

Boerne and Fair Oaks Courts Differ

Boerne publishes a dated Active Warrants PDF and search portal. Fair Oaks Ranch's official site routes citation, payment, FAQ, docket, and extension needs through separate court resources. No downloadable live warrant roster appeared in the official materials reviewed. Different formats do not show which city has more pending cases.

Boerne accepts Class C filings from several city functions; Fair Oaks Ranch's cases come from police filings. Use the Municipal Court named on the citation.

Kendall County Cities With Municipal Courts

The incorporated city court sources reviewed for Kendall County are Boerne and Fair Oaks Ranch. Comfort is not a third incorporated city page in the research; the JP4 office there serves its precinct. County or state citations routed to a Justice Court remain separate from a city ordinance case.

Kendall County JPs Hold Other Cases

Four JP offices handle justice-court traffic and criminal matters. Their precincts have different phone numbers and payment bureau codes; the county directory lists each route. A JP capias does not become a city Municipal Court warrant just because a citation is for traffic. Read the issuing court on the paper before trying a payment portal.

The official JP directory shows the four offices. A Comfort-area citation may belong with JP4, while a city-issued citation should begin with the city court. No consolidated JP warrant portal was located.

Checking a Municipal Court Warrant

Boerne's official portal offers citation and identity search paths; its warrant page also links a dated PDF. Fair Oaks Ranch FAQ points to its city payment portal and says failure to appear may result in a warrant. Its city pages do not publish a comparable active list. In either city, call the court to confirm current status and what the portal's result means.

  1. Read the citation to identify Boerne, Fair Oaks Ranch, or a JP precinct.
  2. Use the named city's official court portal with the citation and requested identity fields.
  3. Call the Municipal Court if no result appears or a warrant status is unclear.
  4. Ask whether an in-person appearance or mailed request is required before visiting.

Boerne Court Payment Notices

Boerne's portal warns that its citation-number search should omit the dash and digits after it. Search choices include citation and birth date, license and state, Social Security number and birth date, plate and state, name and birth date, or business name. The court's warrant page lists a $50 warrant fee and $10 OmniBase fee.

“Pay Now” closes the case with a conviction and ends dismissal eligibility, according to the portal. A missing confirmation means the request may not have processed. An active warrant can remain enforceable until court staff process and recall payment. Call the Municipal Court before relying on an online receipt.

Boerne Class C Filings Come From Several City Offices

Boerne Municipal Court receives Class C filings from more than the Police Department. City sources identify police, animal control, code and permitting, and fire-marshal matters within the court's citation work. That means the department named on a notice may help identify its origin, while the Municipal Court remains the place to ask about the docket, payment, and recall.

The city says police-filed matters can take two to three business days to reach the court. A citation absent from the online portal during that period is not proof that it was dismissed or never filed. If a date is approaching, call the court at 830-248-1504 and ask whether the case has arrived, which identifier to use, and whether an appearance remains required.

Boerne's usual court hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Confirm current hours before traveling to 124 Old San Antonio Road.

Inside a Municipal Court Warrant

Boerne's public PDF is a citation list dated August 21, 2026. It shows Name, Offense, Citation #, Viol, Viol Date, and Balance. It does not show a separate warrant number, judge, bond, service agency, or recall timestamp. Fair Oaks Ranch's portal is linked from its FAQ, but the reviewed sources did not expose a live field schema or an active PDF.

Fair Oaks Hours and Courtroom Rules

Fair Oaks Ranch's official Municipal Court page lists Monday hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed noon to 1. Its FAQ instead displays weekday hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Call before visiting because the official pages differ.

The city says initial appearance and reset requests should not be faxed, and the FAQ says an appearance cannot be entered by phone. Courtroom rules restrict weapons, cameras, recording devices, and other listed items. The city page image shows the court's jurisdiction and contact panel.

A public docket or stream can help with appearance logistics, but it is not individual warrant confirmation.

Fair Oaks Extension Has Its Own Capias Terms

Fair Oaks Ranch's extension form offers up to 60 days to pay in qualifying cases. It warns that unpaid fines and costs after that period may lead to a capias pro fine and a $50 warrant fee. The city FAQ also describes a $15 time-payment fee after the applicable statutory period. These amounts and conditions belong to the city's process; they should not be assumed for Boerne or a JP case.

The form includes a judge-only signature area, so submitting a request is not the same as receiving approval. Contact the court at 210-698-0983 to ask whether the citation qualifies and whether the judge has acted. Keep a copy of the form and confirmation. If a missed appearance already produced process, ask what the court requires before relying on a payment schedule.

Kendall County City Lists Stay Local

Neither city's portal certifies the other city's cases, a JP capias, or a felony file. The Sheriff's curated Most Wanted page is separate from both Municipal Court dockets.

Match the citation to its court. County traffic cases use the precinct on the paper; no citywide amnesty or safe-surrender event was found.

How to Resolve a Municipal Court Warrant

Call the city court and ask for the case's current status, balance, appearance requirement, and action that recalls the warrant. Boerne and Fair Oaks Ranch have different extension forms and payment notices. A receipt is not necessarily immediate recall, and payment may change the underlying case outcome. Ask a lawyer about a plea or waiver choice.

  1. Use the citation and city name to confirm the court and current amount.
  2. Ask whether the court allows payment, an extension, an appearance, or bond.
  3. Read the form terms for waiver, conviction, fees, and missed-payment consequences.
  4. Save proof and ask the court when recall and any DPS update will appear.

Warning: Boerne says an active warrant may remain enforceable until staff process payment and recall it. Fair Oaks does not publish an immediate recall promise.
