Kendall County Warrant Records Kendall County Warrant Records

A warrant question in Kendall County starts with the office that issued it. The court named on your citation is the one to call, because only it can confirm, recall, or quash its own warrant. The Kendall County Sheriff's Office serves county process, Boerne Municipal Court keeps the city files, and the District Clerk routes felony records. Keep your citation beside any court notice, and search only through the official court form. If nothing turns up, ask the clerk directly rather than assuming no warrant exists. A portal result is not a recall, and silence is not an answer. Keep receipts after any payment or appearance, and ask the issuing court what happens next. Use contact details the office itself publishes.

Kendall County Sheriff Page Is Offline

The KCSO endpoint at kendallcountysheriff.com/warrants.php displayed a maintenance notice in the September 20, 2026 research check. It exposed no search box, result schema, count, timestamp, or export. This is an availability gap, not a no-warrant result. The sheriff publishes a separate 24-hour main line at 830-249-9721 and requires open-record requests in writing.

Its form asks for the record type, incident date, names involved, case number, and other locating details. Email a completed form to kcsoemail@co.kendall.tx.us. The office says approved records are available within one to seven days and open-investigation material cannot be released. No warrant-specific fee or request tracker was found.

Warrant Search Fields Explained

Boerne's official Municipal Online Payments form offers several ways to find a city citation. Required status is not specified in the text-accessible form, so the table describes visible routes without guessing which fields the portal requires. The citation number is the clearest court identifier; the city says to omit the dash and any digits after it.

Field LabelTypeRequiredNotes
Citation number + DOBText and dateUnspecifiedOmit the dash and digits after it.
Driver license + state + DOBText and dropdownUnspecifiedState and territory choices are shown.
SSN + DOBText and dateUnspecifiedMasked format appears on the form.
Vehicle plate + stateText and dropdownUnspecifiedA second vehicle input is also visible.
First and last name + DOBText and dateUnspecifiedUse the full identity requested by the court form.
Business nameTextUnspecifiedSeparate business-name search route.

The portal warns that “Pay Now” closes the case with a conviction and ends dismissal eligibility. It also says a missing confirmation means the request did not process and partial payments are limited to approved plans. Read those notices before submitting a payment.

Open the official Boerne court portal to view its current form. The image below shows the search-field layout captured for this research.

Fair Oaks Ranch also links an official portal, but its FAQ does not list each live field in text. Call the city court if the form does not fit the citation.

Kendall County Boerne List Snapshot

Boerne separately publishes an Active Warrants PDF. The copy reviewed was dated August 21, 2026 and showed Name, Offense, Citation #, Viol, Viol Date, and Balance. It did not expose a separate warrant number, judge, bond, service agency, or row-level recall time. The “Viol” field had no published legend.

This is a city citation snapshot, not a countywide list. Ask Boerne Municipal Court at 830-248-1504 to confirm a current status and amount. The city warns that payment does not end arrest risk until staff process and recall the warrant, especially after hours or on a holiday.

Review Boerne's official warrant instructions for payment and recall warnings. Its page image shows the city's own instructions rather than a person or roster row.

A dated list helps route a citation, while the court remains the source for today's recall status.

What a Warrant Search Shows

There is no verified countywide result format. KCSO's search was unavailable for inspection, and no live felony warrant row was exposed. A Boerne city hit is built around a citation and violation, while a District Clerk request asks for case details and the kind of record sought. A booking number from the jail roster describes a later custody event, not an unserved warrant.

OffenseMunicipal citation description, not a felony classification.

BalancePDF snapshot only; ask the court for the current amount.

Kendall County Courts Keep Separate Files

Four JP courts handle their own precinct traffic and criminal matters. JP1 is at the historic courthouse in Boerne, JP2 is on IH-10 West, JP3 is on Fawn Valley Drive, and JP4 is in Comfort. Each office publishes a separate number and payment bureau code. A city portal will not necessarily show a JP case, and the sheriff's list is not a consolidated court index.

The county's Justice of the Peace directory lists all four offices. For felony and district records, the District Clerk's form accepts party name, case number, estimated date or year, requested record type, and requester details. Name the court and existing record you seek; agencies do not have to create a new report in response to a question.

Four JP Numbers Route by Precinct

Call the precinct printed on the citation: JP1 830-331-8258, JP2 830-249-8404, JP3 830-249-2820, or JP4 830-995-2031. Those courts keep separate files; a city citation remains with its Municipal Court.

JP4 lists public magistration from 8 a.m. to noon, seven days a week. That schedule is not an individual warrant search or an arrest-free surrender promise. The county directory routes callers to a court; it does not combine case results. Give the clerk the issuing court and existing record details.

Where to Check Warrants in Kendall County

Use Boerne Municipal Court for a Boerne citation, Fair Oaks Ranch Municipal Court for that city's police citation, the issuing JP for county precinct matters, and the District Clerk or assigned court for felony files. KCSO accepts written requests for records it holds and lists a main phone line. The County Clerk routes county-court misdemeanor, probate, and related records separately.

No public Texas service combines names into one statewide warrant lookup. DPS's FTA/FTP program can show a license-renewal compliance issue, but its license specialists cannot see warrant information. A traffic warrant may involve a DPS hold, yet the court that reported the citation controls the warrant and recall question.

Kendall County Records Requests

The Texas Public Information Act covers existing government records, but an office may withhold material under an exception. The District Clerk's search form can request an active or disposed case and felony record; it is not marketed as an instant warrant check. For older-than-2010 criminal or civil searches, the District Clerk lists a fee of $5 per person plus $5 per decade.

KCSO requires a written request and says open-investigation information cannot be released. The Criminal District Attorney's request form asks for a record description and optional date range, with delivery and redaction choices. A specific citation, court, date, and case number help the right office find a record without asking it to research a broad legal question.

Restricted Warrants and Access Rules

Texas law distinguishes an executed arrest warrant from an active investigation, a sealed search affidavit, or a juvenile file. After execution, CCP Article 15.26 generally makes the arrest warrant and affidavit public, subject to other law. The Sheriff's Office withholds records tied to an open investigation. A denial or missing online result is not a finding that no process exists.

Key Rules:

Texas Government Code §552.108 can protect law-enforcement information when release would interfere with an investigation or prosecution.

Texas Family Code §58.010 makes a child's arrest warrant and supporting complaint or affidavit confidential except for authorized recipients.

Texas CCP Art. 18.011 allows certain felony search-warrant affidavits to be sealed. Ask the issuing court about the record and the rule that applies.
